Dust and Rust

There was an accident at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome this past Sunday. The pilot, Vincent Nasta was killed in a crash durning the WWI airshow. I didn’t know him personally, but I want to express my heartfelt condolences to the Nasta family and his friends at the Aerodrome. I believe it was Mr. Nasta who took my son Evan on his first flight.

I’d appreciate it if someone could confirm that the pilot in this photo from 2006 is Mr. Nasta.

The Jonas Brothers were playing a show in Bryant Park this morning for Good Morning America. The place was overflowing with teenage girls and Oompa Loompas. Truthfully I only saw this one. I’m not sure what he was pushing on the youth of America, but hopefully he wasn’t trying to lure them with everlasting gob stoppers.

Lit Pool at Night

Here is another shot from my trip to Italy. This pool was as cool and inviting as it looks. With temperatures in the 90’s all day, the water was nice and warm after the sun went down. After dinner our villa became *the* place to hang out and drink for the people staying at the castle, and the pool was a good place to rally the troops.
